ABSTRAK
Faham alam (cosmology) telah dibahaskan oleh ramai tokoh daripada latar zaman dan pemikiran yang pelbagai. Dewasa kini, kemajuan kajian tentang alam semakin maju dan antara pihak yang terkehadapan dalam kajian tentang alam ini adalah dari Barat. Namun, seiring dengan kemajuan kajian tentang alam, kerosakan alam juga meningkat naik. Hal ini kerana Barat itu sendiri telah melalui proses pensekularan sebagai “suatu rancangan falsafah” (secularization as a philosophical program). Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti bentuk-bentuk kekeliruan faham alam dalam Pandangan Alam Barat melalui kaedah analisis kajian-kajian oleh sarjana Muslim semasa terhadap sejarah faham alam dalam tradisi keilmuwan Barat. Sarjana Muslim yang diberi tumpuan iaitu Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas. Didapati terdapat tiga bentuk kekeliruan faham alam dalam pandangan alam Barat. Kekeliruan ini berlaku hasil daripada pensekularan sebagai “suatu rancangan falsafah”.
ABSTRACT
Cosmology had been discussed by great figures from various timeline and thought. Nowadays, the research on cosmology is progressing and one of the prominent researchers in this area is the West. However, along with the research progress, the corruption on nature is increasing. This is because the West had been through secularization as “a philosophical program”. The objective of this article is to identify the forms of confusions on cosmology based on the Worldview of the West through analysis on the research about the history of conception on nature in the Western intellectual tradition by contemporary Muslim scholars. Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas is the Muslim scholar that was emphasized on. There were three forms of confusions on the cosmology based on the Worldview of the West founded. These confusions are the product of secularization as a philosophical program”.
